Initially I started training with Beth BX3 classes because I was lacking motivation and it looked like a fun environment to train in and who doesn’t love a good booty sesh. I’m so happy I did! It wasn’t long before I was also working as an online client with Beth. She has a wealth of knowledge and has opened my eyes to fuelling my body in the heathy way while still enjoying life.
I came across Beth about a year and a half ago and I haven't looked back since. I was struggling with weight loss, self confidence and I saw training as a chore. My training wasn't consistent and lacked structure, which caused my progress to plateau. My relationship with food wasn't great, I was one of those people that tried every 'diet' out there and still saw no real sustainable results. I would lose weight quite rapidly, as I was on a calorie deficit but would gain that weight just as quick, as I wasn't able to stick with that diet for a long period of time. I avoided certain food types like rice, pasta, bread and donuts because I didn't understand how nutrition worked.
I am LOOVVINNGGG it!!! I feel like I have enough support with the exercise demonstrations that I can confidently go into the gym and perform them. But I also feel like the selected exercises are functional, not crazy ones that fitness influencers have come up with I never used to train full body and was skeptic all at first, but I am finding it so much more effective as I can feel I get a decent workout each day whereas I only used to have good leg days and then average upper body days. A four day split is also the perfect amount so I don’t feel like it’s completely taking over my life and other commitments such as study and work!
I’ve only been doing the glute academy for a few months now and man what a change I’ve seen. To the point that people at work comment on how much my peach has changed. However, the glute academy is more than just looking good in a bikini. It’s about the mental struggle and working damn hard to get what you want (in this case a great big 🍑) and thinking “I worked my ass off for this, even when it seemed like it was too hard”.
I am loving The Glute Academy program. Its targeting full body and adequate time for me to recover. I have noticed several changes in my physique and feel so much stronger. I am recording all weights so i know i am progressing. I no longer skip leg days and exercises that are hard. If need be i start light and work on form and technique and i have found that by getting the technique correct i am actually enjoying those exercises and then strength can develop. Im not overtraining how I was for years and lopk forward to my recovery days.
Prior to Beth, training was extremely daunting for me as I had no knowledge on how to train or use equipment effectively and properly. Since training in her classes, I have made progress beyond what I thought was achievable for myself, I am lifting weights well over my body weight, I am knowledgeable on what exercises work best for my body and have the confidence to train in a gym by myself.
I’ve been doing Personal training for many years, but never really felt like I was making any targeted progress. I started training with Beth in 2018 for a change up from my previous workouts and what a difference! I have never felt stronger. I feel like Beth is really accessible to all fitness levels. You never feel like your asking a stupid question or that you’re doing things wrong, she’s always got your back and makes sure your progress is the top priority. I first decided to join ‘TGA’ to gain more knowledge in compound lifts and to gain confidence in doing them. Not only has Beth helped me gain confidence in lifting but also in life in general! I can now squat, hip thrust and deadlift more than my body weight and that makes me feel so damn strong! I don’t think this could have been possible without Beth being there by my side the whole way encouraging & motivating me! I really struggled with planning out sessions and monitoring my progress. Fast forward to the online academy i'm now training less, 4 full body sessions a week (one hour Max!), my goals are now all strength related, I'm tracking my sleep, my period (thanks to Beth's podcast) and I now understand how this is all related! And now with the added app with the online academy I can track all my strength progress accurately!
